Welcome to the Alternative Learning Centre (ALC) at Westside School
Empowering Minds, Transforming Futures! The ALC is tasked with providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for children who have severe behavioural, emotional or social difficulties; and provide a framework for them to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to go on to either further higher education or seek meaningful employment.
In the ALC, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education and a supportive learning environment. Our Alternative Learning Centre is designed with a focus on nurturing the unique needs of vulnerable children who exhibit behaviours of concern.
